MUSICAL HERITAGE
The Stiwt has strong, rich links with the musical heritage of the village of Rhos through three Male Voice Choirs: the Rhos Male, Rhos Orpheus and John's Boys along with a ladies' choir: Cor Merched, two mixed choirs: Cantorion Rhos and Ger y Ffin and a boys' choir.
Notable musicians from Rhos include the composer Dr Caradog Roberts, brothers John and Arwel Hughes, Owain Arwel Hughes, John Tudor Davies MBE, John Glyn Williams MBE, Eifion Wyn Jones, Emyr James, John Daniel, Tudor Jones, Llyr Williams and Daniel Lloyd.
