Be Part of Something Special: Vacancies at the Stiwt Theatre

Nestled in the heart of Rhosllanerchrugog, the Stiwt Theatre is more than just a performance venue - it is a thriving community hub rooted in the area's rich history. As a registered charity powered chiefly by volunteers, we rely on dedicated individuals to help guide our mission of bringing arts, culture, and connection to our community. That's why we are seeking to fill two crucial vacancies on our leadership team:

Trustee Role

We have an opening for a passionate, community-minded trustee to join our board. As a trustee, you will meet with the board every couple of months to provide strategic oversight, fiscal governance, and support to advance the Stiwt's vision. If you love the performing arts, believe in the power of community, and want to steward a one-of-a-kind local asset, this role may be for you. No prior board experience is required - just a desire to serve.

Company Secretary

We also seek an organised, detail-oriented company secretary to guide on legal and financial matters. While a background in law or accounting would be advantageous, what matters most is a spirit of service and belief in our mission. As company secretary, you will work closely with staff leadership to ensure effective governance and sustainability.

Make a Difference

As a 450-seat venue and community centre with an important heritage, the Stiwt Theatre impacts many lives. We invite you to learn more about these meaningful, high-impact volunteer openings. Don't hesitate to contact our Manager, Rhys Davies, on 01978 841300 or email the board secretary to discuss the next steps. Together, we can build an even brighter future for our theatre and community.
